Welcome to the Rockin’ W Rodeo Ministry Website
Here is some information about our ministry that we hope makes it easier for you to partner up with us.
Through the years of travel on the rodeo circuit, there has been many opportunities to feed the rodeo contestants as we have seen other sporting venues provide hospitality centers for their athletes. Our desire is to see this take place at as many rodeos as possible. The rodeo cowboy and their families need and appreciate a place on the rodeo grounds where they can get a home style cooked meal and be able to relax between those long road trips.
While we have been on the road, we have helped cowboys and cowgirls all over the nation to achieve meaning and stability in their spiritual walk. This new vision of providing hospitality at Cowboy events would expand our reach to many more individuals.
To fulfill the new vision , Linda completed her studies and received certification as a chef from the California Culinary Academy in 1999.
We have obtained a 20’ utility trailer and a 30 foot 5th wheel professional Mobile kitchen to pull behind our motor coach equipped with professional appliances to meet the job of feeding anywhere from 50-300 or more people per meal.
Since we are a 501 (c) non-profit organization, we do not charge for this service, but do accept donations of food or finances to be able to carry out our goals of hospitality.
We are also currently seeking qualified sponsors to help supply the finances needed for the mobile kitchen trailer. We are willing to provide space for logos on the trailer provided it lines up with our criteria and our goals for the group of people we seek to serve.
